Testament is the final book in a trilogy of art books (Icon & Legacy were the first two) showcasing the art of Frank Frazetta, who was far and away the top illustrator of fantasy books in the 20th century--his best works being drawn or painted throughout the 1950's, 60's and 70's especially. His paintings were vigorous, well-composed, and utterly riveting. He was also a fantastic comic-book artist and movie poster artist. This Trilogy of art books--along with the earlier Bantam "Fantastic Art of Frank Frazetta" series of the 70's & 80's--are so far the best I've seen dealing with the master illustrator Frank Frazetta.
